So I woke up and heard the wind and decided to check the weather. It said the wind was blowing 40 miles per hour. I figured it was going to be a long morning...I have run in wind before, but nothing quite this bad. But the temperature was in the 20s so I was happy about that. The first mile of my run went fast...really fast....the wind definitely pushed me up the hill I had a feeling when I had to run into it on Grand that the wind would have it's revenge...and boy did it. I breath through my mouth when I run...and with all the dirt and dust swirling around it made for a long couple of miles. I also had my first experience with an emergency vehicle. One of my big fears is always that I am not sure how well I hear my surrounding....but the firetruck was a half block away and I heard it. My run time was 45:56. Once I got home I decided to weigh myself and I am down to 191.2 I am hoping I am starting to take more weight off. Overall not a bad morning.
